Where do you get this stuff? The only one I can find at Pick n pay is a huge tub for over R150. I just want to try it.
 
You have to boil butter for couple of hours.
 
Ghee, unless I'm mistaken, is just clarified butter so just make it yourself.

As in melt (boil) the butter and let it set?

In that case remade ghee before - by accident

Indian okes, as well as those from other persuasions that are gheesperts.. where do you buy your ghee from?
From cows, not interested in the veggie stuff, but is this..

WW also thas their version likely a little pricier though

That's not a bad price for WW.
I think that I paid around 260 for a 1.5l tub of reputable brand ghee at Aandal Foods around 1 month ago. There were cheaper options available too.

The great thing about ghee is that one can store it for just about forever, it does not go rancid quickly, so buying large quantities doesn't bother me at all.
