Aka naga jolakia.
A friend brought some from Thailand.
Very very very very hot is all I can say.
2kg of mince and 2 nagas and holy crap... Hot (in--->out).
But it was awesome :)

you don't get the herea faik.

Naga Bhut Jolokia, Naga Jolokia, ghost pepper, ghost chile pepper, and ghost chile ... Last time I was looking for some to feed to my friends :) I found some seeds on bidorbuy a place in PE sells the seeds.

Just something I found on wiki

The Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend (Capsicum chinense), endemic to the district of Moruga in Trinidad and Tobago, is currently the world's hottest Chili pepper cultivar. The New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute has identified the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend as the newest hottest chili pepper in the world as of February 2012.[1][2] According to the New Mexico State University Chile Institute, the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend ranks as high as 2,009,231 SHU on the Scoville scale, making it the hottest chili pepper in the world to date.[3]

Paul Bosland, a renowned chili pepper expert and director of the Chile Institute, said that, "You take a bite. It doesn't seem so bad, and then it builds and it builds and it builds. So it is quite nasty."[4][5]

The golf ball-sized chili pepper scored the highest among a handful of chili cultivars reputed to be among the hottest in the world. Its mean heat topped more than 1.2 million units on the Scoville heat scale, while fruits from an individual plant reached 2 million heat units.[1]

Leaving out the heat, the Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend has a tender fruit-like flavor, which makes it a unique sweet-hot combination.[2]

Currently, however, according to the New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute, the world's hottest commercially available chili pepper is still the Naga Bhut Jolokia, which has a reported Scoville Heat Unit rating of 1.6 million Scoville units.

A mate in Seattle ate a bottle of the stuff over the course of last December. He spent New Year's in hospital, having a part of his stomach lining removed, true story. Handle with great care!!!

Chillis do not burn the stomach lining and they do not cause ulcers. This is an urban myth. Chillis in fact have some pretty beneficial properties for the stomach. What they do is inhibit acid secretion in the stomach so if you have an existing stomach issue, it can complicate it, or even help to some extent.

This guy might have legitimately spent NYE in hospital, but not because the chillis did any damage to his stomach lining...

aah...the USA, all makes sense now...

he probably remained awake for a week after downing an espresso too

I grow and sell Trinidad Scorpion and trust me they are a b*tch to grow - they take upwards of 50 days to germinate!
There are many arguments surrounding which is the hottest chillie - Bhut Jolokia or Trinidad Scorpion! When I plant the seeds I have to wear gloves - learnt my lesson the hard way by planting seeds and then sticking my finger in my eye!
I will advise when they are ready for sale.

Been dared a couple of times to try this, I never gave in with the dare. Too risky..hahaha

That has just never made sense to me :)

Is there anywhere u can buy these? Only ever had habaneros and even those are hard to find.

I like heat, but flavour too.
I think ghost peppers would so much of an overkill for me.

If you're in Cape Town and like your tequila hot - head on down to Bob's on Long Street, across the road from Stones for their Chilli Tequila.
My first time in, they had the standard green chilli.
Then they pour your shot, fish out the chilli, break 'em in half and place them in the shot glass.
HINT: Swallow the damn chilli in one go.

They've upped the heat with what looks to be Habeneros floating in the bottom of the bottle these days, seeds and all!

I love the stuff - but always have a Hunter's Dry at the ready if the burn gets nasty :D

Be warned though - a friend and I both "lost" our cellphones there a few months ago after a raucous night
Another friend's eyes and nose started getting watery just when smelling it! :D
Had to have whipped cream from a can to cool him down :p

At R10 a shot - its a good way to get your burn on.
They've got bucket loads of more variations on their tequila if you don't find it to your liking.

I'm also looking for Ghost Chilli or Carolina Reaper or Trinidad Maruga plants... (they are not easy to grow)

They are easy to grow, you however need to make sure that you keep the temperature around 29-30.c in order for them to trigger germination.
