Ghostbusters 2016 Trailer

So haven't seen a post about this yet. Talk about disrespecting the original. The trailer made me cringe. They took the clever, witty humour from the originals, and turned it into a low brow Adam Sandler crapfest.

sigh.

The comments are funnier than the trailer. Also make sure to check that dislike ratio...

Yeah....it does look like "dumb" humour, which I hate
 
Hated the trailer and it looks terrible.

You know what I hate more though? Is that now the media is saying that the negative reaction is just due to sexist men.

How about you just made a cr@ppy movie?
 
Not a fan of Melissa McCarthy.
Not a fan of tedious reboots.

Exactly. You don't see the Wayans screaming racism whenever they release a movie.
 
It's not that it's bad.... It's just that it's not very good... and that's bad.
The acting and humour feels bit stilted and forced.
The jokes are mediocre at best.
None of the actors appear to have any commanding presence, but will wait to actually see the movie to test that.
I'm still willing to give it a shot.

Yea, I started the latest terminator expecting rehashed jokes and phrases, rehashed story lines and the same old same old. I was not disappointed.
Watched it anyway for old times sake.
 
I have to say, watching that trailer again, Leslie Jones looks like a caricature. Like an overly stereotyped black woman.

So its really ironic that they tried to make a "modern", "progressive" movie that ends up being quite racist.

And then when the trailer gets twice as many dislikes as likes, they blame it on sexist men.
 
Everytime I see the trailer or parts of it I want to see this movie less and less :/
