Gigabyte G-Smart phone

Is there anyone else out there using the Gigabyte G-Smart phone and what are your thoughts on them? This was my first step into smartphones so have nothing to compare with.
 
I had a look at these phones a while ago. If you want a Windows Mobile PDA rather get yourself a i-Mate. Only thing about the Gigabyte is that it has a TV Tuner.

TV Tuner is crap by the way. Was looking at the I-Mate than got this at Rectron for nearly half the price. Guess I'm beginning to realise why.

I still think I-Mates are good, but wouldn't mind trying out this one. By the way, where is Rectron?
 
the G smart is a cool device .... its is full blown PDA with a slide out phone keypad for those people used to it ... the added apps are cool. the sound overlay is really cool. you have different profiles, so it sounds like you at the airport or in a meeting etc ... yip the TV is not great
 
I got the G-smart-i on Sunday

The phone came with mini SD card, spare battery and charger, all cables and a GPS. ( Still have to work out the GPS connection)
 
i would not mind watching tv on my phone

but sabc and e-tv during the day whahahahha

would rather play bubble
 
A friend of mine wants a Gigabyte Gsmart i. Has anyone used the antenna for the phone to watch tv? Does it make a difference? Is the antenna available locally?
