Hmmm, I am sure there was a thread or two about making a PC with the same kind of budget just the other day...

But for that price you could get, off the top of my head, a top of the range quad-core and SLI mobo, some kind of killer gfx card (2 x 9800GTX or at least 2 x 8800GT...), a couple of 500GB HDD's, a couple of 22" screens...etc...:)

I think it's only Prophecy's prices that include vat ...... but I could be wrong.

Most online computer shops include VAT ... take a look at my site, when you click on a product, look at the price ... just below it, it says including VAT.

there you go, eita is around .......... reap that business bru :D

oky here is what i got from computers only.co.za

XFX Geforce 9800 GX2 1GB DDR3 Black Edition R6599

XFX NFORCE 780I 3XSLI INTEL DDR2 (Socket LGA775) R2899

INTEL Core2 Quad Q9300-2.5Ghz CPU -6MB Cache R2899

Coolermaster Real Power Pro M1000Watt PSU R2300

COOLERMASTER Centurion 690 R799

Total R15496
Vat inc. R17665

And i am keeping my ram and hD's

I would say rather get 2 4870's and Crossfire them for about the same price ... but thats just me :p
Then you go for a Intel chipset if you want to do this.
If you don't decide to do this ... and want to stick with 9800gx2, the 1000w is overkill, rather get a 750w or 850w unless you are planning on running these in SLI in future.

Oh ya ... and I signed the merchant documents today ... will get my merchant number tomorrow, and should have credit card facilities in about 2 weeks ... woo hoo :p ... and the commission I am paying is lowish, so I only have to up the more expensive items by 1%, all other items stay fixed ... hows that ;)
