Gigs.co.za

Ugh... looks like a another Cybersmart reseller... alla Wazzup et al.

Perhaps give it some more research... it just looks like another reseller... I could be completely wrong.

From their FUP

he following applies to the uncapped services above. If your 6 month average is double the 6 month average of all other customers on a specific package, we will ask you to migrate the service to the next level in that circuit speed bracket. I.e. customer is on a R340.00 per month Shaped service he will be moved to the Unshaped service at R629.00 per month. This applies to all the 384k, 512k and 1-10Mb services. If a customer fails to comply with the fair usage policy, his/her account will be throttled until they are in line with the policy. 20GB per month is a reasonable amount for 384Kb/s , 35GB for 512K and 40 to 70 GB average for 10Mbps line speed.

Damn... do not call them uncapped... call them 20GB / 35GB / 70GB packages then.... ! Grrrrrrrrrrr.

That does not seem bad, considering their Uncapped for instance, is a. not on contract and b. comes with a free router.

Anyone have some more information on these guys?

Yeah i also saw that... not really uncapped, but the free router and month to month is not too bad

I don't think that Cybersmart are offering uncapped anymore, well not directly, but still through resellers ... but when they did offer it, yes.

So does Cybersmart, on their Uncapped offering, also provide a free router?

Gigs.co.za 3 gig CAP & 384 kb/s line = R248 ... Cybermsart same package = R178 or for R10 more get 5GB + line from Cybersmart... or you can get Mweb uncapped for R349 p/m All inclusive.

I suspect their uncapped is just a reseller package that is not offered directly by Cybersmart.

I am not full of love for Cybersmart at the moment.... so my suspicions could be quite clouded.

The month to month is the plus point.

Cybermsart's free routers were R260 jobs that are nothing to really write home about... perhaps ask Gigs for the make and model of the free router... sometimes it is better to just purchase a router upfront, and not have to struggle with cheap rubbish.
