Give our cops a break

*ROFL craig is so not pupa!* Yeah glad someone else said that.
I tend to agree. Which makes it even MORE interesting as to why Craigsa has gone really quiet.
Cant say Im surprised in the least though and just hope he is not in the dwang and is happy.
Pretty much the last job on earth i would wish for my kid would be policing in SA at the moment.

Yeah poor guys... We really need more of them, the more the smaller burden each has to carry.
There was a program about this on SABC yesterday I think... Didn't watch it though, I totally forgot, but the ad alone portrayed enough to let you notice that all is not well.

I watched the show and the cops got it really bad those of all colours and the family of the cops are just as bad off.

And the ones that were complaining on Special Assignment looked like the really good cops, especially this one black cop who told his story how he left varsity at final year because he wanted to become a cop really bad but now the service is corrupt and too much stress so he also left.

And by the way BOSS Angelo craig and pupa are not the same person

It was tongue-in-cheek :)

Another thing is that is people are going to put down saps, dont put down the good cops. The ones who actually do a good job to their best ability. Blame the corrupt officials and badly managed stations. Cause without the cops you would be begging even the terrible ones to come back
That's a major issue in SA at the moment, there's a general criticism of Gvt arms even though not everybody is corrupt.

I've seen what the Police has to go through. I know a cop that was moved to Mamalodi to help the police there, but after a few months he was forced to go on leave and had to give in his firearm, because he could not take it there anymore!:(

THANKS MR AND MRS POLICE!:D

If you have repeated problems with your local SAPS, why dont you consider joining the nearest Community Policing Forum and actually meeting some of the guys? You might be pleasantly surprised as I was?

The local SAPS superintendent also suggested I get involved in the CPF. Took my number and promised to contact me with the date of the next meeting but I haven't heard from him again since his promise a few weeks ago.

I am keen to participate so I will contact him again soon and remind him.

soz vampirotoothus - too ambiguous?

*Who are you referring to?*

Let me rephrase that then: If anyone has problems with their local SAPS, join the nearest CPF :D Hokay? and dont wait for a promised call either, just wade on in there and get involved :D
