So I get a call from a decent sounding bloke who knows my first name.
He says that I have recently qualified for a global trading account and "have I seen it on my banking app already?".
At this point I hang up because red flags have gone off.
"Ict Globel Manegement" is their Truecaller ID....although I guess this could have been typed in by a truecaller user instead of the actual company.
If it really is a scam, I wonder what the next steps would be? Asking me to open my banking app I guess or provide personal details?
If it isn't a scam then why the heck would a random company phone me and not my bank.
