Globetrotter with sms

Hi All,

I've been reading this site for quite a time, never posted until now.

I wonder if anyone can help me, I've tried searching the forum but with no luck!!! I have an Acer laptop with the 3G signal up technology and the bundled software is Globetrotter Connect. The problem is that when I want to top up my airtime and buy another gigabyte of data, I need to remove the sim from the laptop, chuck it in a cell phone, and top up through the phone.

Now I'm wondering if anyone has knowledge of a programme, like VMC lite, which has sms capabilities, Globetrotter just shows if you are connected or not.

Spizz. I'm using using GlobeTrotter COnnect 2.1.0.425 and it does have SMS capabilities. Maybe its just a matter of upgrading you software to the latest version.

Thanks Swoosh, maybe the way it's going to go anyway. Ever since I installed and restarted a bit later, I keep getting a Globetrotter Connect 'application error' popping up every 30 seconds. Everything is working fine, but the blooming thing won't go away. Anyway, I'll reinstall and keep Vodacom4me in mind for future reference.
