Hi guys

I am looking to buy a monitor that has a glossy screen. I dont want to discuss pros and cons, just want to know if anybody knows where i can get any decent ultra wide glossy screen monitors.

Thanks guys

From the regular big brand names, nope.. people have been waiting a long time for that now.. from the not so well known brands, there is this guy..

Microboard M340CLZ

How you get this in SA is totally up to you...

Thanks @WAslayer. I have seen a couple dell monitors too but not available here and so darn expensive. I have a dell and samsung glossy monitor, but looking to upgrade to higher than full hd res. When i bought these they were about R2500 each for a 23". I would love to have 2 x 25" 4k or higher than hd res glossy monitors. Will keep looking, will probably have to import.

That's not glossy, it's 'semi-glossy' which technically is still matte.

Only way to get a glossy 21:9 is to remove the matte layer which will invalidate your warranty and leave it more prone to scratching.

True. but I'm not worried about the warranty anymore. Wrt the scratching, I seen some guys put plexi glass over, looks pretty decent. Check this guys attempt: https://hddcaddy.eu/remove-anti-glare-coating-from-lg-29um68-monitor/

I found a dell S2415H at takealot. Just not the size i want unfortunetaly.

If you are not worried about warranty then that is an option and probably your only option at this stage. Just don't fsck up as it will be expensive :D

Ill try not too. @ponder

Does anyone have experience with IPS vs GLOSSY? I read on tomshardware that there shouldn't be a difference but i am somewhat not convinced. I would like to see the difference. Would appreciate if anyone has valuable insight into this

I have a 27" Dell class panel.

Make me an offer. (it's not ultra wide, don't think that existed when class was in fashion.)
