What is up with so many people asking for invites? If you people wanted to use Inbox so badly why didn't you request an invite directly from Google during the giveaway hour? Pretty much all tech news sites publicised it ahead of time.

Because it was at 2am? And it's always like this with invites and it doubles as publicity. In other words - this is exactly what is meant to happen, so what's the problem?

How do you invite someone?

How do you invite someone?

They pm you their gmail addy
You press the red dot with the + button bottom right. (in Inbox)
If there appears a golden ticket right above the red dot, you click on it.
In the top of the screen, a place to put the gmail addy in well appear.
Copy/paste the email addy
Click invite button top right
Job's done
