Gmail issues on Mavericks

Anyone else having gmail can't connect to imap server the last couple of days?

Works fine on IOS 7 devices but osx it has exclamation mark next to inbox for gmail and hotmail?

Unable to receive email is the error.

Removed gmail from Accounts, restarted BUT can't re-add the account.
Mavericks is up to date.

I see my iCloud imap is also showing red under mail connection doctor.

Nope, I am using the mail client in Mavericks and it works perfectly fine, Hope it stays that way.

I haven't had any issues with mavericks and gmail.
