Gmail outage

damn annoying...cause all my work mail is forwarded to gmail :(

Strangely - I can see the mail arriving using GTalk - but can't get into the mailbox.
 
It is annoying.

The lesson learnt here is this :

Cloud computing is good and well... but you must also have offline applications at hand just in case the cloud gets broken by George.
 
Its a Beta?

No problem with gmail here... its all you M$ lovers that got affected...

Gmail was off earlier but has started working about 30 minutes ago on my side
 
Its was down for about 3 hours from about midday to 14:45
Only the web-client was down, the POP servers were working, not sure about IMAP.

Least they got it back quickly.

Nothing to see here, move along.
 
I also had problems with gmail this morning from 11:30am untill about 2:30pm, 3:00pm but it is working now
 
Nope - my IMAP wasn't working - hence the question about why browser make matters

I believe the prob is with their webmail client, thats why browsers can make a dif


BTW I havent had any issues...
