Go Banking is urging South Africans to use their cellphones as a means to reduce the time and money spent on banking transactions.

might have to do with it costing more than standing in line at the bank. 2ndly wap based would be cheaper than sms based right? so why push sms based banking? (yes, i did read the bit about basic gsm's able to use it)
