Going to start running at 5 am

I have never been able to figure out why on earth some1 will get up at 5am to go running. Theres a whole day to run around in, why get up early for it. I`m getting up at 11am tomorrow and just gona lie in the sun and tan all day. I`l go play rugby tomorrow evening to take care of the Bob Winters, as i like to call him. And then i`l study at night :) There! both ur things covered without having to get up early!

I always thought of people that run as idiots. Those that get up at 5am to run must be complete morons.

It takes great dedication. I start at 7am so, I can't do it but, would love to.

I really don't think it's good for you, way to much impact stress compared to swimming which has just about zero impact. See lots of older joggers with fooked joints. Oh, and it's boring as hell and you might get run over by a taxi.

I run about 4 times a week and 3 days a week in thr gym. I do run in the eveningd though.
For me running is not boring at all, but I like to go outside :p

Just take it slow when starting and watch out as some idiots don't look after their dogs,
and the dogs might run outside the yard if said idiots don't close their gates.

Do you know how great you feel when you get to work and you've already done an hours exercise. I also think people that are driven and motivated in life are the ones you see at 5 in the morning.

Best time of the day is from around 5 in the morning till 7... especially at this time of the year

Be a real mate and send me the program  I don't have $19.95

RunnersWorld site has a "smart coach" application that will put together a zero to hero program for you catering to your particular goals/starting point/lifestyle/whatever

It is tough on the joints ... but NOTHING comes close to the endorphin rush of running.

As far as the taxis ... you either need to stay away from the main/busy roads when running ... or learn to say "hamba!" properly.
