Hey KillerB,

I'm on Openweb's 384k gold uncapped, and I have to say, its really impressive. Been downloading full tilt since last night 11:30 pm and still going strong. Have done about 1.2GBs + and I'm still downloading at full line speed via HTTP. Paying that extra R100 is really worth it in my opinion. Add to that, the quick and prompt response from Mr.Beep, I'm a happy camper with Openweb's uncapped. Can't wait to see how things will turn out when they move to the new network partner on 1 June, but things can only get better for every Openweb user. :)

At the moment im on their 4mbit uncapped shaped offering and everything is slow.
Even some cached items on the news server is going full speed on my brothers 30gig IS local account but im getting 10kb/s max.
Damn you IS damn YOU!
Wish Keoma could shift users over to the new network this month :(

I am testing the 4MB gold uncapped. I can confirm, with much satisfaction, that everything except torrents FLY! I don't use news or astra, so cant comment on those particular P2P/ file-sharing options, but my HTTP and FTP traffic runs at full speed 24/7, with relatively low latency. Absolutely no comparison to the IS uncapped, which I refused to sign up for after the poor performance experienced in April. Pay more to get more. It all depends on your personal needs.

how is this service in terms of news?? and which news servers work with this?? is this via mweb??

Chugging along @ 30kB/s for me (384k line). I'm happy enough. Has been a bit of downtime, though through no fault of Openwebs. Still, this is my first month. Will wait to see what I manage to get by the end before I pass judgement.

Managed 103GB total on SAOL in a month- let's see what we get with Gold!

damn :( i wish i was testing out the product.
Im at my wits end already with the latency and iv had the product for only 2 days
