Good Article: Time for the Truth!

I remeber quite a while ago ( maby 3+ years ago or so ) he said something that this country will be like a paradise again...on TV. Come to think about it...he was right....were going BACK....to the paradise...lol

So yeah the apartheid would easily serve the 5 mil people. Could easily provide better education, roads, infrastructure, jobs, and all that. Now the ANC has to "serve" 50 mil people (that's ten times the 5 mil people).
So explain to me why the ANC didn't build MORE power stations, instead of actually SHUTTING SOME DOWN as they did do? Is this difficult:

"Problem: We need to supply electricity to MANY more people than before, plus the economy is growing and we're targeting 6% growth. Should we (A) Build new power stations or (B) Shut some down?

Answer: _____(B) "Shut some down" - signed, ANC_____"

But you just keep blaming apartheid there. Back in reality-land, this is an obvious ANC failure, and even the president admitted that.

Where I cum from, we only got electricity, running water in 1996/98. I got Bantu education (almost every black person had that during that time).
Yes, apartheid was horrible. Nobody is denying that, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with our current entirely preventable situation.

I think what a lot of ppl are missing, is the fact that diff ppl see diff stuff icw apartheid...One group will see punishment, while another group will see success...So whenever you use the word Apartheid, i think it would be good to "specify" exactly WHAT in appartheid was good or bad.

R u sure nobody is denying that?
That's not the impression I'm getting here.

what I wish to point out, is that apartheid should not be even brought up as a topic for all this. All this is *after* apartheid. Yes, it happened. But whatever's left after all that happened, take that, build on it and stop pointing fingers.

As a black man, I don't see anything good in apartheid. Just the same way white people don't see anything good in the current government.

All the current government sees in apartheid is a crutch to use for it's own ineptitude...

Comes that famous saying "Let's move on already" like nothing ever happened. 40 years of destruction by the apartheid government should just be forgotten. That's easy.

It does get a bit tiring.

But, Apartheid has fscked up a generation or two of black people.

"Do you think blacks chose to be gardeners and maids?"

Right-wingers seem to think that 14 years is enough time to sort it out - LOL.

So let's for once *not* let that saying come to pass. Let's say "What can we do to help each other out here in this predicament we're both sitting in"

I can't say I've seen anyone here claim apartheid was good, although I suppose there might be a few right-wingers here who would, it's a HUGE forum after all, there's friggin THOUSANDS of registered posters so back up your overgeneralised, sweeping, broad racist paint-everyone-with-one-brush allegations with some FACTS immediately or stfu --- there are even heavy anti-white racists like fay etc. too. Anyway, way to divert the discussion, the apartheid debate has little relevance to the current electricity crisis, so please answer my original question:

Whites don't "blanket" hate the ANC, your assertion is ridiculous. If that was the case I don't see how we could've had 14 years of comparatively amazing tolerance in this country. They "hate" the fact that they don't have electricity, that they're in danger everywhere including their own homes etc. (problems I might add that affect ALL South Africans including every black South African so stop defending these problems, it's disgusting, because millions of black people - including black people dear to me, people I care about, getting shot, or whose jobs are on the line - are victims too, don't insult these black people too by suggesting they must accept this and that only whites would dare complain), and that the blame for this is, in fact, directly at the feet of the ANC. You make it out to be a race thing. Whites would hate this mess just as much if it were a 100% white government that caused it, I promise you, because we really do just hate incredibly high crime rates, and we really do hate a collapsing infrastructure. And black people should hate this mess too!! If you think it's a race thing, then you either have blinders on or you are anti-black yourself. Because it's a mess. FACT: The ANC frecked up the electricity infrastructure. This isn't even up for debate, it's a fact, it's not racist to state obvious facts now is it? Stop your hatemongering. I'm sure you think "so what if whitie doesn't have electricity, we didn't either", well let me tell you, hundreds of thousands of jobs are gonna evaporate here as businesses fail or cut back, and many more secondary jobs are gonna be lost, many black people are going to lose their jobs, you say "so what poor whining whitie" because you don't understand that causality, or you think people have no right to be upset if they are going to lose their jobs or businesses because of a government failure, or you don't care about anyone's jobs or safety, whatever the case it is *sick*, very sick. You're one of the privileged few blacks who have Internet access so maybe you don't realise it's the poor blacks who bear the worst brunt of all these problems, or you don't care.

14 years was long enough for Germany to clean up the rubble from its bombed and army-fought-through cities, and establish itself as an economic power.

14 years was long enough for Japan to clean up the rubble from 2 thermonuclear explosions, undergo military occupation, the dismantling of a very serious military regime, and lay the groundwork for becoming a working, functioning economic power.

Yet in 14 years, when all the ANC has had to do was take down whites only signs, and integrate schools and all businesses, the ANC's current legacy shows that it has spent its time causing more racial hatred, more deaths, and more destruction of South Africa's social, political, and economic life, than was ever in existence in SA before.

The ANC has spent its time, whining like little spoiled brat bitches, over pre-1948 issues, instead of created a functioning, working country, for all citizens.

The ANC have failed those who died in the liberation struggle for a peaceful, decent, non-racial South Africa.

All the suffering, all the deaths, all the struggling by so many (of all races) in hopes of achieving a peaceful happy country, where the concept of 'race' itself would never be part of any Government statements, or laws, ever again - have failed.

The ANC are no longer the authentic voice of the non-racial democratic movement in South Africa. They are anti-democrat frauds, liars, opportunists, and fascist scum.
