Good Backup Policy

Hi Guys

Need some advice on a good backup policy.

I currently backup my Mailbox Store to a NAS device connected with Fibre in another building ( I cannot currently use tapes, long story).

So I backup Full Sun, Incr. Mon - Fri keep data for 4 weeks.

Also running a fileserver with 500GB of data that I want to backup in the following scenario:

Mon Full backup to tape offsite storage, Tue Incr NAS, Wed Full backup to tape offsite storage, Thu + Friday Incr NAS, Sat Full NAS.

I want to use the other days to Backup to Tape some folders on the NAS.

Do you think this is a good backup policy?

Backups policies depend on various factors like media, time available to perform backup, recovery time objective, disaster recovery procedures, hot and cold backups, meta data etc.
