Good/Best Dermatologist in SA

I am looking for the best dermatologist in South Africa. Could anyone please recommend a good dermatologist. I have wasted thousands of rands over the last few years and gone through a few dermatologist and I haven't seen an improvement in my condition with any of their help.

She's been on 3-Talk on SABC3 quite a few times when they have discussions about skin illnesses. She's very good. She cured my acne one shot.
 
I have a condition known as scalpal folliculitis. In the last four years I've seen 2 dermatolists and have been to see the dermatology unit professor at Tygerberg hospital. Not one of them could help me. My condition is much worse now than what it was 4 years ago.

but not sure about how good in terms of your specific condition ...
I have been told that he is very good in terms of scerisis(spelling?) and eczema's

Good dermatologist in Cape Town

Hi all,

I am in desperate need of a dermatologist in Cape Town as I have developed a very bad case of adult acne. Could anyone recommend one for me?

Try Dr Jonathan Smith in Tyger Valley. His No. is 021 614 7676. Cleared the condition I had been battling with for 5 years in 2 weeks.

His consultation fee is at least R150 less than the other dermitologists I've seen the last few years.

Just checked. His number is 021 914 7676. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
 
Hardy de Beer in pretoria. He was the only one out of probably 6 doctors who was able to diagnose my dad's vasculitis and give him proper treatment for it. Guy is brilliant. Don't have a number anymore unfortunately.

+1, this man is way past retirement age, he has years of experience on him
 
I have a friend who has Eczema, she was on medical aid, everything the dermatologist gave her never seemed to really work, when she was no longer covered (medical aid) and paid cash he gave her something that really did the job, he told her it was cause she was paying cash, if you on medical aid they want you coming back and therefore don't give you the best medication available for whatever your problem is...

Thought I'd just throw this out there!

that's one benefit of not having a medical aid.... Can't think of any others though LOL
