-1 for this guy. I hardly finished my story and he just said "roacutane"

Didnt even mention any side effects or the like. As far as I know, that is a drug that you should be very, very cautious about.

He also seemed very, very rude. Wasted R400 on the guy.
 
I also don't have any acne. Just a pimple now and then, which I believed to be because of an oily forehead.

I actually wanted to go for a skin mapping, and get something to reduce the oil....instead I walked out with a prescription for roactuane which I subsequently threw out.

Stay away from Dr Jonathan Smith the worst dermatologist around always so full of bad moods.
Move over to a new dermatologist.

He's always been extremely polite and friendly to me...

He did a great job helping me with eczema and some mild acne years ago. He did not prescribe roacutane like many others.
 
I think he needs to clarify his position, just for the sake of clarity ... :D

Takes your money but did not resolve my problem moved to another doctor and my problem was resolved within two weeks! Dr Smith is also very moody and he is the only doctor I know that doesn't fetch his patients from the waiting room - I would think this is the common couresy thing to do - I find him lazy also!

Can't recommend her enough. Really good at what she does.

Heard about a decent one in Centurion from a friend. Will enquire and PM when I get the number.
 
Hi. I have brown marks from acne. I need something that can work in time for a wedding in December. Which dermatologist is the best for something like this in Johannesburg?
 
As a side note - skipping dairy products cleared my acne 100%. Its hit & miss though...seems there are many causes and types.
