Good combat flight sim game?

Can anyone recommend a good flight sim combat game that can be used at a lan party?

I needs to have bot's, hopefully a co-op mode.

Just kidding. I haven't played any "normal" flight sim games so I'm not much of a help.

bf2 not really a sim game, but loads of fun and easy for people to pick up (less so with the choppers)

Without a doubt Falcon 4 is the best flightsim out there. There are a few new titles in the pipeline that I'm watching, but this is the best if you're serious about flying.

I play this game at home, and all I can say is, damn it's hard. Every feature is realistic and every button/switch/toggle in the Falcon actually works. Also its quite a modern fighter jet, not the latest but modern enough for pilots to use it. Small things that pi*s me off about it; I keep shooting down my own guys, the radar is advanced where functionality is concerned, easy to get confused if the sky is full of friendly's. It's still kinda hard to take out people with missiles, as most planes have alot of counter measures, which is a good thing in multiplayer games. Trees aren't realistic, so don't try skimming treetops, doesn't work so well. Special effects are pretty good though, there are even jet blasts streams from water if you fly a few feet above sea level. Dog fights are incredibly hard. If you master this game, you won't need another. But it's alot of work. If you guys try it and decide to LAN, drop me a private message.

IL2 Sturnikov as ThisGeek mentioned is also a fantastic game.
You can little see enemies plane get shot to pieces. Great for pis*ing off you mates. "Haha, there goes your landing gear..... Ooops, and their goes your aeleron, Oh dear... was that your left wing?....."

yeah falcon 4 is the most realistic flight sim I have played.

Sabre you can also try Heroes of the Pacific, has realistic and arcade modes and it has bots as well which you can use for mp.. even has CTF modes.

IL2 Sturmovik - err.. latest incarnation is IL2 1942 which has IL2 Sturmovik plus all the expansions ever released.
