Yeah I agree, which is why im finding it so hard to find good rts or turn based strategy games. Although I do play the occassional fps, adventure or rpg, i've always enjoyed strategy games far more.
Same here. Back in the day, strategy games were the ONLY type of games that I played. Luckily for me I fell in love with Bad Company 2 and now BF3 so that keeps me busy. Would still love a good RTS though.
World in Conflict is an awesome RTS that you should also look out for! You can get it for like R49 at BT Games. It got a 9.5 on Gamespot I think, and its only about 3 years old and the graphics are still awesome. The online community is however very small and the only ones remaining are by now real veterans, so Im not sure how the online experience will be. Nevertheless, for 50 bucks its worth getting because the single player campaign is quite fun.
You could also look at RUSE. But try get a demo first, as you may hate the game. Some people love the game and others dont. I wasted my money on it because it looked cool, and reviews were good, but once I played it I realised it just wasnt my thing.
