It's always a good week or day whenever an announcement is made of the imminent successes to come.
Problem is that they always take ten or more years
At least now we're looking at hopefully yearly reflections of positive impact on the local market.
Or should we be getting ready to tell our children stories of the future success and have them reap the benefits when we're long gone?
I can understand the need for community upliftment requirements and so on, but surely they could/should create a different form of license that allows you to build infrastructure in a local only capacity instead of being a national provider?
You could have regional ISPs that peer with other ISPs, more companies doing the same job and being responsible for smaller areas might be a way of improving the service instead of having to deal with one large conglomerate that doesn't care about the individual.
