Goodbye Hatfield Square

The demolishing of Hatfield Square has begun this week and many paid their last tributes to the social hub.

Many students, old and new, flocked to the square this past weekend to bid farewell to popular venues including Good4Fellas, Dropzone, Cool Runnings, Herr Gunters and Steelworx.

I worked in Offices above the Square before it's demise into a crime haven.
Problem is the criminals will just move to another center.

OK it makes sense that it will get turned into flats. I looked up 2 years ago what the rental was on a flat pm in that area and it was the same as a house elsewhere. Rich parents are willing to pay those exorbitant rates as their kids don't want to go to res but the parents have money to rent a flat so the kids can sow their wild seeds.
