Lol. It is the worst when I work on a new Windows server installation and I'm stuck with IE to start off with.

IE with ESC...
I dont actually touch new unconfigured servers anymore, they get spun up by my Terraform automations and then configured with Ansible, but yeah I remember the days of having to start off with IE on a new install.

I've had to deal with, how can I say this correctly? ... gov.za institutions who want to run full webapps. With Internet Explorer... and have it zero-data rated... This piece of news is nice to stick in their faces, that anything else is better than IE. Even the browser on their smart-fridge.

Goodbye Internet Explorer

Microsoft has announced that it is pulling the plug on Internet Explorer, 25 years after the browser was first launched.

I actually loved IE Explorer and found it very user friendly... I will miss the Google search bar on Edge as per attachment.

Edge does allow you to make Google the default search engine but by adding it under the address bar I was told by Microsoft is not possible unless they program edge to have this option.
