Google’s Instant web pages explained

Nice, but one probably shouldn't use Google when you are paying R2/Mb OOB.

An interesting question is how often people use Google Search but don't click a result link. For me it probably about 40% of the time because the answer I want is already in the result page descriptions.

It's a clever idea, but not always good for those roaming or on our R2/MB OOB!
Does it only work on chrome? Looks like it for the moment..

No. It works for IE and Firefox. Think it's been around for like 5 months! Note how it will not work for illegal downloads and sites!

More crap to turn off.

Google has been a java off zone for quite some time.

What with Java off, "Everything" sidebar scripted away, and cookies control, google is fast becoming more trouble than it's worth.

Google is already not including all my search terms in their results list and now they want to preempt the results I want - the mind boggles...

You can probably configure this feature. ie On or Off.
Sadly very few people will know this and their browser will download more than what is needed and precious broadband will be wasted.
Probably need a guide for every Browser to show users how to conserve their broadband.
Any teccie out there willing to do this?
