Google and Yahoo slates Australia's Internet filter

Poor Australia, not only to they have to deal with every second game being banned due to no 18+ rating, their internet may now be filtered as well. They may as well get into bed with China.
 
Don't worry ... we'll soon get filtering to filter out bad words about ANC / Malema :p
 
People, it's not like you won't be able to watch your fav porn fetish.... the law says, only child-related porn, explicit detail on weapon production (specifically bombs) and sexual violence, iow... people who get their pipes clean, by watching people being molested/raped and beaten....

Did you even read the whole article? It says: "But moving to a mandatory ISP level filtering regime with a scope that goes well beyond such material is heavy-handed and can raise genuine questions about restrictions on access to information.", plus, in another article I read they said: "the concern of many net users is that the list of banned content, which will be assembled through a public complaints mechanism, will end up being bombarded with submissions material which is entirely legal but which the complainant personally objects to." - see their concern?
