US stock markets closed mixed Friday despite positive fourth-quarter earnings reported by major companies like eBay, Google and General Electric

In one verse this article says that Google lifted the market and then in the next it says it brought it down. I are confused.

Says google had positive 4th quarter earnings, but they changed CEO's. Don't call a dip of 0.55 anything that deserves it won article tbh.
