Google Chrome 27 update - hardware acceleration non-stop!

My Chrome browser just felt super fast after the latest update (almost like it's possessed!), and I thought my 8ta line must have gotten a speed boost.

Well, I found the answer in the Advanced settings, right at the bottom :

"Use hardware acceleration when available"

Chrome is awesome but they really need to open up the app APIs, there are still Firefox only plugins that keep me locked to using that browser.

Real pity, cos I just saw tonight that Tweetdeck for Chrome got a makeover, etc.

Lots of cool extensions for Chrome now.

Not sure, just know it doesn't have the download apps that Firefox has.
