Google Chrome has ruined Firefox for me

lol trying to block ads when google makes a browser supported by it. I don't have a problem with adwords... but Flash :mad:

I'm on linux so chrome is not available but firefox 3 and opera 10 betas are great on linux

Running C2 beta and it's fast.

Only issue I have is I would prefer to have my tabs below the address bar.

I've created a folder, called Robert's Bookmarks, and put it on the top left corner, just underneath the refresh and home buttons. Then I moved all my 'sub folders' + other bookmarks to it and now 'other bookmarks' is just sitting quietly in the far right, all emptied out.

Works a treat.

Started using Chrome the other day - pretty impressed. Nice and clean and quick. Now all they need is the addons and then I can dump FF.

Yeah, it is certainly faster than FF. What is the point of tabbed browsing if FF either crashes or uses all your resources with more than 8 open?

Exactly why I haven't switched from Opera to, well, any other browser. The only possible benefit I can think of is FF's plethora of plugins but for ease of use and intuitiveness nothing comes close.

+1

That sums it up for me as well. I went back to Opera... spent a week or two using both, and now it is just Opera. I pop onto FF and update to the latest nightly build every once in a blue moon... but after a few minutes... close it down, mothball it again and fire up Opera. Luvin' the Alpha 10 turbo version. Vroooooom.

I have tried Chrome. Too much irks me with it.

Opera = :)

Nope - doesn't work here either. I've downloaded and clicked on the file. Nothing happens :(

You have to do way more than just clicking on the file, you have to follow the instructions further down on the page for chrome.
