After using Google Chrome now for a couple of months, with its fast snappy responsive UI... I can no longer use Firefox without swearing under my breath at the FF devs.

Its slow, its awkward, its a resource hog of note (when compared to Chrome). My browsing experience now feels worse. While FF is way better than IE.. I cant compare it to Chrome.

I know atm, Chrome has less functionality in terms of plugins and such.. but its soooo fast and responsive. I very very seldom get a Chrome hang.. and it uses way less memory and CPU than FF.

Im a power browser, so at any one time I will have around 15-20 tabs open. Something Chrome loves and FF hates.

Anyone else using Chrome feel the same?

This is kinda like how Ubuntu spoiled Windows for me. But I haven't installed G.Chrome. Will do that a bit later. Thanks for pulling my interest. ;)

i run it on my old p3. Chrome might be lighter on resources particularly ram, but its cpu intensive sometimes. Also, because each tab is a new process i have to manually assign each a low priority(firefox's only other save point).

Anyway, as soon as chrome gets a ad blocker I will change.. till then nope.

I like Chrome, which version are you using? There's a v3 Beta floating around, I wonder how that performs...

Exactly why I haven't switched from Opera to, well, any other browser. The only possible benefit I can think of is FF's plethora of plugins but for ease of use and intuitiveness nothing comes close.

I've been using Google Chrome since last year.

It runs circles round Firefox and Internet Explorer in terms of speed & I love the small footprint the Chrome toolbar uses....it's really tiny.

Also, if you're a Facebook gamer, you don't want to use anything else.

Sometimes I think they designed it just for me. :)

The thing I hate about Firefox is that it takes so long to start showing the addresses when I type in the address bar for the first time. It is feeling old and slow these days. Chrome is definitely faster.

Used Firefox for years, then went to Chrome for a while, back to Firefox and now Chrome again. I have a PC at office with Chrome but a Mac at home with Firefox and I prefer to work on my PC because of Chrome, I am even using Safari more than Firefox these days on my Mac.

my work pc does that....

Firefox is slow for me.
Annoying also that nearly every time I use it, I have to first wait for new updates for the addons to be installed.

I now only use it for a couple of sites where I really want to block those stoopid smiley ads.

Otherwise I use Safari.

I think that is more the pc pkid not firefox, must be a slow pc or something with xp more than likely :p

Firefox is the best i think, opera i even prefer to chrome.

Oh my word. I forgot about that. Why can't they just have a "stuff off" option where it downloads the newer version, installs it in the background and magically you get the new version when you open it. Hmm. Just like Chrome does ;)

+1. I keep trying them, resort to them for the odd problem page, but likewise always return to the trusted Opera.

FF is much slower for me on XP than on 7beta.

i haven't tried chrome yet . . . simply because there are certain FF plugins that are essential for my browsing experience.

I remember when you were an ardent IE supporter in FF`s first couple of generations. Glad to see you have moved on.

The new Chrome is awesome, it has the scroll thingy firefox has, and extensions are out! (I'm talking about the latest beta)

If you wanna block ads, it's easy with Privoxy, but now there's an adblock extension too!

Where can I get it, I hate the scrolling on the current Chrome...

EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
