Google Chrome on Linux, Mac

Since chrome is based on Webkit why not download . . . Webkit? http://webkit.org/ :)

Because it doesn't include:

- JavaScript V8 Engine.
- One thread(process) per tab.
- Tab dragging out of a window to create its own window.
- Google Hype.

Just to name a few.

Just checked and on the mac it might not use the "JavaScript V8 Engine" but it does the rest . . . Google hype optional :)

Ok, I also just downloaded the nightly build for WebKit. But you will need Safari because WebKit is just the renderer.

Without Safari the nightly build binaries is useless to me. So maybe you should update your post to include a link to Safari as well.

Interesting. What OS are you running? I'm on a mac so obviously Safari comes pre installed.

Microsoft Windows, seeing there was only binaries for Windows and Mac. I don't have Safari installed.

And the only executables in the archive is "FindSafari.exe" and "run-nightly-webkit.cmd".
