Google Chrome Rubbish Browser

So, I have been using Google Chrome for some years, but this year the browser just seemed to go down the tube with never-ending problems. The last straw for me was when the browser experienced authentication problems and kept logging me out of sites. Just after this I get continuous blank pages when conducting Google searches. So, I uninstalled the browser 2 months ago, now only using Edge.

Thought I was a bit bored and decided to download and install Chrome again to see if they fixed their problems. Guess, what, opening the browser and visiting a website, nothing happens. Just get the 'About:Blank' in the URL field after a few seconds and a white page. No website will open. Hell, not even their Settings will open...

I think Google should stop wasting time on browsers, software, phones, etc. and rather focus on their advertising and search engine business. As for me, I am done with any Google product.
 
I dont have those problems. Think it's something with your installation.
 
no issues here too.....

Maybe you should remove all toolbars and add-ons that seem to creep into unprotected systems
 
Yes, it's probably the most memory-intensive application ever written, but Chrome, in my opinion, is still the best of the available browsers.

Did you install the 64 bit version? The download page defaults to the 32 bit version AFAIK. Also run this --> https://www.google.com/chrome/cleanup-tool/

As noted Chrome is still the best. My Edge randomly gets killed for some reason. Chrome's html5 test score is also the best https://html5test.com/results/desktop.html.
 
I've had my issues with it but sadly I always come back.

OP could also try SrWare Iron. It's a branch of the Chromium project stuff, removes the Googleness.
 
Why do you prefer Chrome? I use Opera, and no prolems with yhis browser.

By the way, there is a browser called Maxthon Browser which uses the Chrome and Internet explorer engine.... how many people actually use it? I use it and it works pretty well ( except for the add ons, yeah those kinda suck ) but other than that, it is a great browser with tons of features. I am surprised it is never mentioned in a discussion about browsers anywhere

I am also having the same problem with my own computer. Google chromes sucks! I've tried to repair the chrome many times but didn't got success and then I've decided to choose fireFox as my default browser.
