So here's one that made me furious.
You've got a Tab open, do something else on the PC and Chrome decides to trash your open Tabs. Tabs need to reload when chosen.

It's a bugger and affects some tasks where the Tab/Browser needs to stay open.

To avoid this from happening do the following:

Enter chrome://discards in the address bar. Toggle the switch of Tabs you don't want discarded.

:)

Add more RAM?

Lol it's got less marketshare than Edge...
PC is too old. I'm not investing more cash into it.
The discarding of Tabs happens on many PCs. Even mid-range systems with enough RAM.
It's irritating.

Another one: If you self-host some stuff on your network and you don't have certificates for the web interfaces, say a router login page, and you are getting an untrusted cert error, you can turn that off with 'thisisunsafe'

Just tried it. It searches Google for thisisunsafe?

Click anywhere in the actual window of the untrusted cert page, not in the Chrome address bar and type it again. It should accept it and immediately bypass that warning page.
