Google Developer Summit in South Africa: apply now

Excellent news, i hope some highlights will be pushed onto Youtube or even some sessions livestreamed :). More attention this gets, better for our wonderful developers locally.

Read the myBB email header. Couldn't click link fast enough. Read first paragraph and quickly clicked link to registration, right before I saw..."Cape Town." It should have been Jhb. I too will have to stream the event. I'm a registered Google developer and I create Android apps, so it would have been awesome to attend. I guess with the 70 people limit, Cape Town makes more sense.
 
Any news yet on when we will be able have paid for apps in the Android market as South African developers?

And the 25th has gone and not a single post of someone who attended the first EVER google developer summit in South Africa.

This is what happens if you hold an event in a Cape Town. Google take note! Next time do the right thing and come to Joburg!
