Hi everyone, need some advice please.

I want to register 2 x domains and have Google host them, getting numerous e mail addresses via Google/Gmail.

What I want to know is the following:

Domain 1 will cost approximately how much?
Domain 2 will cost approximately how much?

Do you get multiple domains at a lower cost or is it standard price per domain?

I want to then use Google drive to keep all files and docs for the companies there.

I feel that Google is the best option to use for the reason of mail never getting deleted or lost.
Perhaps I am wrong?
Would you recommend local hosting?

I just find Google far more stable and just a batter service.

Oh and why does Google not allow you to register or use a .co.za domain?
I have registered the .co.za domain now but with a local company

Google isn't a co.za registrar and for that reason, can't support co.za domains.

You can use a local company and just point the nameservers AFAIK.

Maybe the Grove group can be of assistance and, no, I'm not connected :). They are very much into Google apps etc.

Just use your current host for domain renewal and DNS. Then setup google apps for business with Google and setup the correct DNS entries. Per email account per month is around $5.

So you can't get them to host a . Co. Za domain? That sucks

You can host co.za but just need to point to Google servers via your DNS settings on your domains.
You can also have multiple domains going to one mailbox ie a.co.za and b.co.za can be delivered to [email protected]

If they are two separate businesses then you will setup two different google apps systems. Mailbox cost is $5 per user per month.

You should've done this a few months back when it was still free.

Pricing:
There are two models: monthly and annually, the latter being cheaper but less flexible.
Per month it's 5USD per user. Per year it's 50USD per user.

If it's the same as their old free business accounts, this includes every product of Google that you can attach an email address to.
This should also include unlimited email and domain aliases, which rajharie explained. Their policy on additional domains should be the same as their user licensing - every individual email address on the other domain(not aliased) counts as an additional user.

Guys I am losing you here.
Please just bear with someone who doesnt completely grasp this :D

I have registered: www.xxx.co.za and also www.xxx1.co.za.

I want to now have Google host the domain so that I can have a website that I am building and also for the mail.

I want the second domain to redirect to the first one if someone enters it.

Now what would the process be to do this?
So again, the 2 domains have been registered with a South African company. Only the domains, no hosting
The main reason would be to have Google host everything (e mail and website)

Thanks guys

Now to verify they are asking me for the domain name provider but in the list the South African company isnt here
I guess I now need to host it first but how could I host it on Google ???

Use a Google+ page I think.

Hey guys all sorted thanks.

I want to ask my next question.
I designed a site using Wix.
Its fantastic and really helps someone with no knowledge of creating webistes using code.

What I want to know is how would you get Google to now host the wix website?
so for example the wix site is : http://xxx.wix.com/xxxx
Is this possible?

Thanks
