Google drive mounted in Windows/Linux

Oracle Cloud?
Is this the same realdebrid solution you've shared on the forum before?

Currently my gdrive is setup with Oracle cloud. Once that goes away I won't use Oracle cloud anymore. I need to have a bigger cache drive with the Realdebrid solution and I have a quick sync cpu which will work well with my Plex pass lifetime sub.

No matter how many times you tell people they awlways just click and play and end up transcoding so I need something a bit more with GPU transcoding.

Anyone have any good ideas to copy multiple terabytes of data off of Google Drive?

I've tried using Unstoppable Copier but some of the folders are too deep and fails.

Teracopy looks shite, not sure what to do here. :/

the beste speed so far is with rclone copy / rclone move
strangely with the drive mounted using rclone, I was getting about 50% of line speed (250mbps out of 512)
rclone move so far :

Transferred: 2.643 TiB / 9.612 TiB, 27%, 49.839 MiB/s, ETA 1d16h43m
Checks: 6506 / 6508, 100%
Deleted: 3253 (files), 0 (dirs)
Renamed: 3253
Transferred: 3253 / 8966, 36%
Elapsed time: 16h41m1.1s

Thank you, all my personal research has been pointing towards Rclone too, appreciate the response!

Yes, if your account had over 5TB of files on it this would happen, as informed by Google in daily emails to you I'm sure.

Indeed not a shock or unexpected event. It was fun while it lasted.

On we move!

https://debridmediamanager.com/ + Real-Debrid = unlimited media storage with build in search and cache status checks and can be mounted with rclone. Local end points through Cloudflare in JHB, DUR or CPT or via CDN77 at JHB.

Any way to test the speed speeds I will get to cloudflare locally? Might want to try this
Edit: Used cloudflares built in speed test on their website, pretty much full speed

You can use this. JNB1 is CDN77 only in JHB while Cloudflare depends on the Cloudflare announcements to ISPs. If they redirect a region then yeah traffic will shift.

Thanks, not bad at all, might look at implementing this with my plex setup, how has it worked for you?

Host it on my i3 at home. Works really well. I select JHB because well it's only 3ms away.

You can use rd_rclone to mount it with the realdebrid api which works well instead of the webdav version.

Run plex debrid which works really well with your plex discover and watchlist feature.

I have a old i5 3rd gen for my plex, will need to upgrade that soon
Shouldn't be any issues if I use JHB, it's 30ms but should be fine
Will have to look at implementing everything
Lets see how I can screw up my home server for the 5th time :crying:

Windows of you want it easy. Remote desktop works really well but I do like Ubuntu server.

@cavedog what's your speed when downloading a Gdrive file normally through a browser? I'm seeing 130-150mbps.

Yes that is usually what I get.

If you use a downloader you can multithread or use rclone with a chunk size set high to max the download speed.

Yeah, I usually use jdownloader. Just wanted to verify local "standard" speeds.

I'm done. I'm switching to the realdebrid hosted solution. It will double my usage but I have a 1G line that is only 3ms away from Teraco JHB so it will work well for everyone I'm sharing the Plex with.
