Google expands ad empire to computer games

Still console games will cost R500+ . I see it now - just like in the movies. The cutscenes focusing in on some gadget to clearly show off the brand. Oh well... embrace the future.
 
I can see it, Battlefield. Everyone runing around in Nikes wearing Oakleys.
 
Better, perhaps, than them trying to charge real money for things in the game as I've discovered in some 360 games.
 
Hmm so the games will then be offered for free right? Me for one will not be paying for the priveledge of watching a load of corporate ad campaigns. It is painfull enough to have to sit through it in the movies, and whilst watching tv (ok here you have a choice). Now they wanna ask us to pay them money to "watch" their ads...hmm me thinks not.
