Google has released a beta version of Android designed for tablets and foldable devices

Tried it on my Pixel, the FNB app breaks on 12L beta for now so I'm trying to roll back asap

Clearly you have been shopping on the wrong websites :D

This is essentially the best budget/mid range performance/price tablet you can get on the market right. They will have a refresh of the T50 later this year with 5G and android 12. At around 3k, ( special) there is nothing that beats it at the 3k price range :p

Yeah you definitely been shopping at the wrong place, only down side is teclast tablets in general is pretty hard to to get with chip shortages and stuff.

Samsung, Lenovo have good tablets. Oppo is releasing one next year with a Snapdragon 888 supposedly.
There are good Android tablets, but at near same price point, an iPad equivalent is near always better.

This 12L release shows how bad Android is on tablets, it's got no real thought in regards to scaling past large phones.
This is the Samsung Tab S7 end of 2020:

Versus Android 12L:

At least Samsung has their Dex (basically PC) mode:

Which is what this Android 12L release seems to be mimicking, and yes, window snapping exists for Dex.
Lifting from:

It's running a Snapdragon 865, so "fine". Not sure if Samsung released an updated model for 2021.
