Google irks Web site owners over malware alerts

Google is starting to irk me too, on their website they have what is basically a popup, and every new programs installer wants you to install their bloody taskbar.
 
If websites are being accused of malware, perhaps google needs to do their homework before applying labels!. Perhaps evidence???
 
All the sites I have seen that warning on, I KNOW have malware in about 40% of the downloads... so from my perspective, google's doing a good job.

The average computer user is really lax in his or hers PC security, and partly thanks to stupid people, zombie botnets that spam the world exist. More warnings for them is a good idea.
 
Interesting.
- Proactively informing websites that they have been categorised as having malware links/content - and giving a list of what the suspect content is - would help administrators assess and fix the problems. Why not?

- Does a warning like this work for end users anyway? The paranoid, tin foil hat brigade, won't click on anything anyway - probably do not connect to a network anyway and have their computer in a faraday cage to prevent people 'reading their data' from outside.
I'm guessing a lot of other people go to the site anyway either saying 'I know what I'm doing so I'm safe', or 'Bl**dy error messages, always wrong...'.
