Erm "Women map" = stop and ask for directions <-- I tried that at times and that does not work all the time

I find the search feature is not as good as Google Maps, but the OFFLINE maps are great, and it's FREE.

Waze... Decent accent on the female voice and speed trap warnings as well as real road information... I also like Google Maps but that "drunk Minnie Mouse" accent on the female voice just totally turns me off.

You forget to mention apps that can be used totally offline like Gaia GPS & my personal favourite - BackCountry Navigator. Combined with downloaded maps from Openandromaps BCN just works 100% out here in the sticks where there is no reception.
