Google Nexus 4

I'm getting slightly less than five hours of screen time. Battery life is improving though - not sure if the battery is getting better or if 4.2.2. upgrade is the cause. I got a Best Skins Ever protector (cheap, and cheap shipping from their website), and it is very good.

Hardware does not get "better" over an update. It is 100% down to better power considerate software and processes.

I have a Rinkge Slim and a Skinomi TechSkin on the front and back. The TechSkin actually kinda feels cool. I have not a single scratch on my phones display.

Skinomi also sent me 2 TechSkin kits. So 1 year from now I guess ill redo it again :D

Yes, I meant that I have only been through one or two charge cycles and the battery life is supposed to get better a few days after you first start using the phone. Because I also upgraded to 4.2.2., I'm not sure which of the two possibilities is responsible for my improved battery life.

Thanks for this!

I get six hours screen time with my Galaxy S2 with extended battery and Samsung Jelly Bean ROM.

I only get 3 hours screen time on my N4, but, I'd rather charge it twice as often than go back to my S2. :p

I also orderd from amazon...but to my usa post box.
Did you do it straight to south africa?

If yes then what is the shipping they charge?

Easy way to make your life difficult... Shipping info and pricing is listed on the page where you buy the product (assuming the seller ships to your country).

I'm also going to do that, but from eBay. Free delivery to USA.

Did you find out from Postbox-Courier if they will combine both parcels into 1 shipment to SA?

eBay requires a telephone number during checkout. I tried entering my SA cellphone number in the format (+27)82#######. It didn't accept it. What should I do? Does anyone have the telephone number for the USA Postbox Courier depot?

Hi yes post box said that its ok.
But i tried also on ebay but they only give me the option to add a South Africann address and no USA one, thats why i went with Amazon.

I bought 2 covers. My phone will arrive at post box on monday but i must wait for my covers to arrive....i know bummer :(

When i get them ill decide.I will sell one fr sure

I managed to buy from eBay. Entered my phone number as (002) 782 #### : ###. It worked, paid via PayPal. Estimated delivery on or before Thu. Feb. 28 per eBay FAST 'N FREE.

Google will probably ship the phone on Monday or Tuesday, since I ordered it today. I read that Postbox-Courier USA ships on a Tuesday. Both my deliveries should reach them in time for a 5th March shipment.

When did u get yours?

Haven't yet, going to order soon... Just trying to get an idea of what to expect. I will be moving from Super AMOLED Plus to the IPS display, and may say that it can / does look washed out due to Google's poor calibration.

Nope
Its not as colourful/vibrant as an S3, but technically the colours on the Nexus are more accurate

Cool, this I expected- AMOLED does have a tendency to over-saturate colours. Was just worried that it was washed out as many have mentioned.
