My Girlfriends Nexus 4, Its pretty much exactly the same except for the white back. Also there are tiny "nipples" on the bottom of the phone to prevent slippage I imagine.

I ordered on Monday, it arrived Friday morning, however I was busy on Friday so I could not get it. Basically 4 days.

Standard $350 for Phone $100 for shipping then %10 on unit price for import ($35) Bringing total to approx R4900 ended up paying R5500 in total for covers and protective film.

Not sure what u mean by Postbox courier but it got delivered to my house.
 
Anyone in Durban looking for a Nexus4? I have a friend selling a black one for 4500?

EDIT: So did you not have to pay a customs charge? Or is that included in the Amazon shipping costs?

The %10 on unit price is the customs import tax. (which is calculated based on the item price not on the total price incl shipping). Bringing import tax to $35 or around R350

i see some of the sellers on amazon dont ship to south africa tho?

Well my official bumper arrived today and have to say the phone looks pretty cool with it. And now I feel a little bit more secure. Also put on some gadgetshieldz screen protectors, so now I have to say, all in all my nexus 4 looks pretty spiffy

The official bumper is not bad at all, it looks and feels expensive but it does make the phone look more chunky than it should. I think it could have been half the thickness and still offered decent protection.
 
Took my cover off and haven't looked back. Can't bring myself to take off the screen protector though... It's one of those invisibleshield type ones and it's lifted off on the one curved side and got lint stuck to it :(

I'm very surprised with the gadgetshieldz screen protector, first time I used a "wet" screen protector. Took me flippen 40 minutes to get it on, but it looks awesome, no bubbles and looks good

Lol, it's fate, the phone it telling you it wants to be free!

Was wondering about this because the screen is curved on the left and right sides, just thought they would have made the screen protector smaller so that it stopped before the curve but obviously not :)
