Google Nexus 4

think there was a place in ct keeping the screens
it can be done - my bro and i repaired one n4.its not an easy job though
if anyone is still looking for an n4, im selling mine R3000(not the one which the screen was changed)
I've searched the thread and couldn't find any answer other than doing a DIY...does anyone know somewhere I can get the screen and digitizer of my n4 fixed in JHB? Or is it just better to get a new phone?

Just got the ota for 4.4.4 . Its only 2.4mb in size. Will install as soon as my battery charges up. Hopefully won't lose root

You will, but getting it back is as simple as flashing SuperSU in recovery (at least, assuming things don't act differently to the Nexus 5 experience in this matter).

Yup, lost root. But will get it back shortly

Just got ota. Updated phone successfully. Looking forward to it for no reason whatsoever except its been a while

Am liking lollipop quite a bit. The smaller notification and bottom icons provide for much larger screen space... So feels like I have a bigger phone. Battery OK so far (same as before).

Will post back over I get used to it

Am liking it. Have replaced the battery and the screen....but don't want to get rid of it

Having call quality and signal issues since upgrading. I think it started with 5.0 though and just got worse. Includes no audio on calls. Fixes itself after a reboot though
