Let me correct all of you.
MTN and Vodacom are using the 1800MHz band.
Cell C are using the 2100MHz band. This is also known as band 4 (1700/2100AWS) , which the nexus 4 supports. The nexus 4 does not have quadband LTE it would make the phone a bit more bulky.
As far as I know, none of our carriers have come out with a commercial 4G offering (HSPA+ doesn't count IMO).
TL;DR - Cell C is the only operator in SA which will support the Nexus 4s LTE radio. If its good enough I may do a sim swap to Cell C
