Were you using a cheap device?

My Tapatalk does not do that.

Nope, using a galaxy note. Must be the way it's set up.

All the threads show the title in bold, and the last post under it.

hi guys any of you experience ringing being soft when phone is on a flat surface because of speaker being at the back

Phoned Esquire this morning and the guy cannot even give me a price because it's not on their system anymore. Who is still sellling the phone?

Hold out?!? You crazy, just buy it!!!

Aren't you looking at a price very close to R5500 from ebay anyway?

Edit: just saw that ebay has the 8GB and zakdoc has the 16GB....ebay is pricey!

Hmm depends on import tax (if it is applied). That phone is R4,237.13 () + R381.35 () shipping.

But I agree, Amazon & eBay are for desperate people. In the USA that is where people with more sense than money go to buy their Nexus 4s.

Think I'm going to try use postbox-courier and just buy @ R2534.32 () from the PlayStore directly and have it forwarded here. I'm using NexusChecker I downloaded to notify me when it is back in stock in the US.

R5k is just way too much considering the price it is sold on the PlayStore. And when you have to pay for it to go back for warranty anyway I'd rather just do it myself. From what I've read people have had good experiences with postbox-courier.

Here is to hoping I don't need a US credit card :o

Google Play said:
International credit cards

At this time we only accept US-based credit cards for US users and Visa, MasterCard and Visa Electron for international users making purchases from Google Play. You can add additional cards to your Google Wallet account at any time.
You might be able to, but I remember something about the billing address having to be in the US when researching a while ago.. A prepaid credit card might work.

Edit: Virtual CC doesn't work, but you can go through a proxy and use google wallet!

Details here -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978281. It seems it has a 75% success rate.
