Google Now knows me!

Given up. Did a factory reset and installed nothing after initial boot.
Same results.
Looks like I am doomed to not have Google Now :(

Have you checked my post? I was also stuck on that screen.

I don't think it is my phone that is the issue. Starting to look like something to do with my Google account.
I just fired up Google Search on my Nexus 7 and having the identical problem here too. No Google Now.

Nexus 7 on stock ROM. Just rooted.

I remember when I tried CM10 on my S2 that google Now asked for permission first before I could use it, if it hasn't done that then it must be some setting on your account to enable it. I think that may be the problem

Go to Home screen, long press the left soft key, then click it again, tap Settings, Google Now should be at the top, go into it and turn it on.

Thanks for the tip dude. Unfortunately it don't work :(
Long press, and it goes straight to the search box. I briefly see the Google Now main screen then it jumps straight to search. Press again, then Settings and i just get settings. No Google Now anywhere.

I checked on my wife's S2 and it works perfect there. So jealous.

OMF. I feel like such an idiot.

I found this link showing how to enable Google Now...

One very important step I never knew about.
If you use Google Apps for Business you will need to perform an extra step. Login and go to Settings, scroll down and select Mobile. There will be a checkbox ‘Use Google Now’, make sure this is ticked.

I did the above and now it is working.
I was starting to think i was losing it.

Thanks for all the tips guys.
