Google looking at pay TV

Google is thinking of getting into the pay television business as modern lifestyles increasingly turn to the Internet for entertainment, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Would be nice but what connection would one need to be able to view live tv. Not that we in ZA have proper connection standards.

Maybe if they can lay some fibre around like in Kansas some areas can take advantage of this technology.

I would happily pay for good bandwidth and a media-player to download the content I want, instead of the ripoff monthly number we pay to Multichoice.
