Just remember the rollback forces a device reset so make sure to backup important files.
I just don't have the patience to go through a device reset so I'll just wait for the final build.
 
I did manage. Yes it does a full reset. I couldn't wait to get the OTA as I need my banking app alot. I ended up flashing it back to 8.1 with a factory image. Other guys on other forums said it took 24h from the request to roll back to when they got the OTA.
 
I also just rolled back by flashing. Also need the FNB app.

I found android P to be a tad smoother so am hoping that FNB will update the app soon. The tablet app opened but it's completely useless on a phone.

Yea. Am staying on the beta now though. It feels more polished to me. The animations seem to be a solid 60fps.

I've installed the FNB apps on my secondary device. Will let you once the FNB/RMB apps start working on P.
 
Think I'm going to hop off my HTC soon and grab a Pixel 2. Anyone know the best place to get one - presumably overseas via Scott?

Direct import via Amazon? They handle customs costs as part of your shipping costs, so no issues when it gets here

I looked on Amazon and it seemed to just offer refurbished and reseller options for Pixel 2 but maybe I wasn't looking properly. Will check again later.
 
Yeah, seems that's the case although I wish it was a bit more clear. I believe with resellers you don't get Amazon handling customs and all that, right?
 
May have a 128GB XL2 Panda to sell shortly. 1 month old, mint condition. Will post detail when available.

Just a heads up, even on version PPP3 the FNB apps don't work. So far the FNB/RMB apps are the only apps that don't seem to open.

PPP3 is smooth as butter though :)
