the internet would still be for nerds, and a 14.4 modem would be ok for everyone.

I agree. The internet perhaps was not invented solely for pr0n, but it sure as hell makes it a lot easier for pornographers to flog their wares.

What would be really interesting was if the posts in this thread actually had something to do with the article . . . . . :p

While I back Google, it's an interesting case. If Google is allowed to "thumbnail" and store images, it means that any site could "thumbnail" / preview things like movies and Music and distribute it for free.
